Erin Robinson - 2025 Alex Mooney Memorial Scholarship
“For over a decade, Erin Robinson, has been “blessed” to ride, own, and show many Morgan horses; an activity she plans to continue for the rest of her life. Erin, too, has been active in the AMHA Youth Council serving as a regional delegate, working on fundraising campaigns, and being an advocate for Morgan welfare and rescue. She attends Purdue University, pursuing an ambitious double major in Psychological Studies and Law & Society with a minor in Forensic Sciences. Her goal is to continue with graduate studies and work in criminal justice in the field of forensic psychology. Erin anticipates an exciting and rewarding career where she continually learns and hones her craft. Her goal is to work in depth with crime perpetrators and victims to understand their psychology, ultimately preventing crime at its source. Erin hopes “to become the best version of myself possible,” and truly appreciates the financial assistance this scholarship provides.”
Maggie Miller - 2025 Mary Louise Foster Scholarship
The Mary Louise Foster Scholarship is one of the few student-funded schlarships at Purdue, with only x scholarships given each year. This award is given by the Health and Human Sciences Council. Applications are considered based on involvement within the college.
Mary Louise Foster was a pioneer in Home Economics education, initiating the first home economics course for boys at Harrisburg High School and contributing to the development of a Home Economics program at the University of Viçosa in Brazil. This scholarship is meant spread her legacy of innovation, creativity, and leadership.
